There may be some of you that are wondering what is the point of fasting. Is it a hunger strike? I found an article from Campus Crusade for Christ writen by Dr. Bill Bright which answers those questions. The article mentions:"Fasting is the most powerful spiritual discipline of all the Christian disciplines. Through fasting and prayer, the Holy Spirit can transform your life."
Having said that, here are my top 10 reasons to fast - I found both spiritual & physical benefits

I have to say ayuno was of the HOOK!! God did his thing! Blessed service!! We should have more of these more often.....at least one Saturday morning every 2 or 3 months. Most of us are just sleeping anyway, LOL!! =)
ReplyDeleteI gotta agree with that previous comment. Ayuno was a blessing!! Yes, it's a sacrifice to wake up early but it's worth it. We should have them more often. We need to really seek God and yearn to continually be filled with His Spirit. God bless AJAIC.
