I too had the privilege of having Rev. Maldonado as my pastor and although many memories come to mind, one thing that I will never forget was how he always kept “order” in the church. He showed us how to respect the house of the Lord. If we were talking or messing around in church, he wouldn’t hesitate to come down and pinch us or discipline us. Lord knows I got pinched a lot. Unfortunately a lot of churches have lost that (and I’m not saying this to criticize) but that’s something that he taught a lot of us and I hope that it remains in my life and I too can pass it on to my children. God bless you pastor. See you in heaven.

  3. I believe it was 1997 when the pastor gave the performance of a lifetime in my eyes. It was retiro de AJAIC, and as usual all the ministers were given their opportunity to say a few words to the youth. No one wanted to take up a lot of time, as to not back up the schedule. But Hno. Rogelio had to get his two cents in. As he spoke his first words, you could automatically feel the spiritual strength that poured out of his voice. the authority and experience that he possesed was unlike no other. in just a short 5min he had the entire youth up on their feet feeling the power of the holy ghost. never will i forget the pride that i felt at that moment to hold the mere ability to say, "That is my Pastor". That was the last time he ever made a camp trip. After that we were all under the watchfull eye of Hno. Navarrete. The images of that strong, faithfull and loyal man will live with me forever.

Hno. Rogelio...Te veo en el Cielo!

  5. Once I drove to the N.Y. Convention and when we saw our Pastor over there, Olga slipped some money in my hand and said, “Don’t tell Rogelio about this.” I told one of the jovenes that drove with me (Rocael) and he said, “Pastor gave me some money too and said not to tell Olga about it!”. We were preaching all over New York and Chicago with our Pastor’s blessing. That’s the type of man he was. I thank God for him. He influenced and formed my life in a powerful way, to God be the glory! As most of us know, his favorite verse was: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phillipians 4:13. Rev. Rogelio E. Maldonado, it was a blessing knowing you. See you in heaven!

  6. A true hero.

Well havent been online especially on this web page for quite some time. I think its awsome to have one of Gods Generals, posted on the website. I loved Hmno Rogelio, he taught us how to grow closer to Christ. From my very early years I recall him shutting me up from the pulpit, during santa cena or escuela dominical, I was a teenager! But I never felt resentment but rather Love. One thing I will nevr forget was that of my father comming to the feet of Christ on Easter Sunday of 1993. The Pastor greeted us much shortly after the service and told my father to keep forward that there was a new future ahead. From then we started attending every service, and the Pastors warm welcome made my fathers persistence grow. Here was a true Pastor. And I could go on with other expereinces, Im sure all of us could go on, because the Pastor didnt have any preferences what so ever, he didnt have favortisim. He taught us to be humble and united, just like Jesus. so in my few words THANK YOU Pator Rogelio for giving me clases de bautismos, dejando me tocar el piano, por permitir me pasar al pulpito a predicar y firmar mi applicacion de recommendacion to study the Word.THANK YOU for el apoyo when many tried to put me down and tell me otherwise Pastor would tell me "muchacho esa predicacion esta corta pero buena, adelante, Alleluia" and a pat on the shoulder.

I love you Pastor, were not to far from seeing you. And once more Thank You for giving to the Lord
Its through you many met Jesus, and Im glad I was one.

  23. I don't no who u r but, these web sites r a blessing. U can design a page 2 the glory of God. It's all up 2 u. Look at how God is glorified on this site thru AJAIC. Sum 1 else might want 2 do a psychic readings page. Like I said, s'all up 2 u. I haven't the time, but I wouldn't mind starting a page on "myspace" myself and promoting my love 4 JesusChrist and the Gospel. Learn 2 take advantage of the opportunities Mr. or Ms anonymous, and glorify God!

    All in love,
