As every year, I'm very excited and looking forward to this year's AJAIC picnic. Can someone please provide a little insight as to what will be in store for us on that fun-filled day???
We will be having Sports(Soccer, Volleyball, and Basketball), games (watermelon eating contest & Ballon popping game),and Facepainting all day long...If your church would like to sign up for any games...please call (626) 808-5719 or your chruch can sign up on friday at the invasion.
Wanted to let you all know that I was very blessed on Friday's Invasion @ Alpha Y Omega Church. Brother Pastor Martin Solis surprised me. I want to let you all know that your doing a wonderful job! I thank God that you are putting this together cause it's high time we start changin the world for Christ! See you all soon like this Friday
I just wanted to saye hello and congratulate the AJAIC directiva. You guys sure started your year off with a "BANG" (TNT). There's AJAIC activities going on everywhere and much more often then before(please don't take this the wrong way, I mean no disrespect to past directivas), just like before when we used to have confraternidades every month. I sure did miss those years, but it looks like it's coming back. Glory be to God.
I sure love the fact that you guys are taking on the offer that our supervisor suggested the day of our convention when you guys were installed. We are creating the "Alianza de Talentos - AJAIC" and I think that is awesome.
Manantial de Vida won Cristiana de Los Angeles in baseball!!! wooohooo maybe next year there can also be competition in baseball and other different games that are not so male dominated. Just something to consider. lol it was fun but there needs to be a lot more girls involved.
I have to agree with with the previous comment. I think it would be great to have a girls vs. girls and boys vs. boys on each sport.
*Ex. Roca Girls vs. Cristiana Girls (in each sport); and same for guys.
The reason is because many times us girls really want to participate in the games, but since most of the guys are sooooooo competitive and eager to WIN WIN WIN!!!, they gon't give us girls a chance to play in the games (no offense guys...but it's the truth).
Us girls have skills too, we're just asking for an opportuity to prove it.
Yeah, that dress code for the girls is ridiculous to me. I've never known wearing pants or shorts as being a sin. Of course, you can't wear shorts that are too revealing though. God would not condem a girl for wearing pants or shorts (nothing too revealing) then why does the committee have that right. Give me a BREAK!!!
I don't think this is the place to discuss whether or not it's a sin because regardless of how we feel, this is just how AIC is. I highly doubt they would change their doctrine, mind you, a man-made doctrine.
no offense 2 aic but sometimes they do be puttin up osme rules that make no sense. i.e. the picnic u cant wear pants 2 tha park? its like sayin u cant wear slacks and a tie 2 church.but anywho thats just my opinion and correction it wasnt only mdv that whooped on cristiana at baseball Monte was up in that 2. and as 4 basketball we werent supposed 2 play untill 1 and half our team wasnt even here. but next year we'll be back. i mean we have been 2 tha ship twice.
Istead of worrying so much about the AIC doctrine, maybe we should worry a little more about our grammar. Doesn't anyone believe in spell check anymore?!
I'm just curious to know where was this Baseball game that according to MDVgirl4Jesus, "Mananthial de Vida won Cristiana de Los Angeles"? Was it at an invisible side of the park?
It was not in an invisible side of the park lol, it was actually somewhere very visible. There were just too many games and people were supporting their churches, and we just came up with the idea while walking around the park and it so HAPPENS that Monte and MDV people were around too. For the record let me just say we could've lost this year but next year you guys are going down!!!!!!! LOL
Santo! Oh no you did not homegirl! grrrr! lol It was fun...for the person who said if it was on an invisible side of the park....it was at the field right at the entrance. About half the people were gone when we started playing.
We are number one We are M D V....two A little bit louder....three I still can't hear you... We are number one............
M D V rocks the house and when M D V rocks the house... we rock it all the way down
Just wanted to say that we had a blast this year. Food was good!! Games were fun!! The softball game was a lot of fun!! I have to give props to Cristiana, you guys were great sports and a lot of fun to play against :).
I think we might consider giving you guys a revancha next year, lol. Even though you guys are about 10x's bigger than us, (by the way, thanks MONTE for helping us even out the team, lol, and give cristiana a GI-NORMOUS beat down) we'll win again, no problem!! LOL.
Take care and God Bless!!
P.S. All trash talk is in the spirit of fun & games, no offense intended, lol.
who cares whos been around the longest we still whooped on cristiana lol. and MDV ur welcome 4 tha assistance. softball was really fun its funny cause i struck out a few people 2 including ur biggest guy on tha team and ur pitcher

uhhhhhh.... no, probably not. lol
ReplyDeleteWhy not?? Defend your position!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you can be very 'competitive' in any sport wearing skirts.
ReplyDeleteYeah....I guess you do have a point there, lol.
