Trapped Chilean Miners - Rescue Time!

It is rescue time for 33 miners trapped in a gold and copper mine in Chile. These miners were trapped for 69 days (a little over 2 months). Can you imagine being trapped underground and not having access to your loved ones and your day to day activities?

I am sure there were issues these men had to put up with such as meal rations, pessimism, no beds, odors, no light, health, etc.

Fuerza Latina reports that there is a a miner of Christian faith among the trapped miners. Some of the miners admit that he is a spiritual guide and assisted with the overall moral of the trapped crew. I am sure he was encouraging and a blessing to the rest of the minors.

A lesson Learn

Don't loose your cool, be patient - there is light at the end of the tunnel (literally).

These men are being rescued using a NASA designed escape pod that is lowered into a 2,051ft shaft. Miraculously, each miner is being brought up into the surface at the rate of approximately 1 miner every 55 minutes!
