Hello, I'm a Reformational Christian that finds your site a bit amusing. I have a question. Why did some of you wash each other's feet at your retreat? I would like to be given an exegetical explanation for your practice if possible. This seems to be done only among Pentecostals.

Hello to our new friend, well i think Biblically speaking Jesus Washed his own disicples feet to show that we are all equal in Gods eyes no matter what positions we hold in society or in church. also it simbolizes your service to your fellow peers. you leave your pride behind. also we don't practice feet washing it was something symbolic to prove a visual point, and if you ask me or anyone else who attended that retreat many lives were healed when someone washed their feet, youth who had anger towards one another ended up making peace. God works according the needs of people.

God bless you AJAIC, Invasion at Puerta was good! Glad to meet the presidents of other churches, and the senorita who played the violin was very inspirational..... awasome to see local talents. Pastor Acevedo preached about important things to remember: Tu eres Rey y Sacerdote, no solo tengamos el titulo sino la funcion!!

How would people from this denomination (AIC) respond when asked, "What is Christianity?" Are there fundamental beliefs that must be held to obtain salvation according to AIC? Do you have an official statement of faith that represents all your churches or does each church have their own? Would you describe yourselves as Pentecostals, Evangelicals, Arminians, Protestants, or something else? I hope these are not too many questions. I would like to dialogue with you to learn more about you (AIC), your doctrine, and the type of preachers or leaders that are similar to you in your beliefs.

"what is Christianity?" its what we all are suppose to do live a life like christ, we are not perfect yet christ perfects himself in us thru our weakness. since this is only a blog it would involve a bit of writting to explain your quesition yet if you like to read more on what our belief are you can go to the AIC website,

    Matt,

I do not attend Iglesia Cristiana. If someone attends there that is also Reformational, I wonder how that person can remain there and submit to the leaders? A person like me would find it difficult to do.

Also, I would like to thank the person who took the time to respond to me and provide a URL.

Matt, we both serve the same great and mighty God, maybe with a bit of difference. Can you explain to us what you believe in, and why you all yourself a reformational Christian?

First of all, my name is not Matt. I was simly responding to Matt.

I call myself a Reformational Christian because I follow Reformational doctrines. I believe in Sola Scriptura, Sola Gratia, Sola Fide, Solus Christus, and Soli Deo Gloria. I call myself Reformational because I attempt to continue in the footsteps of men like John Calvin, Ulrich Zwingli, John Knox, Martin Luther, John Owen, John Newton, Jonathan Edwards, George Whitefield, Charles Spurgeon, and many others. I consider myself Reformed and always reforming. I believe in the Sovereignty of God over all creation and in salvation. I believe that the triune God saves all of his elect and loses not one. I believe in the resurrection of the body, the holy catholic church, and in the life everlasting.

If you would like to know what Reformational Christians believe in more depth, read our confessions, creeds and literature. May I suggests the London Baptist Confession of Faith? Among us we have Baptists, Presbyterians, and others. So at certain points we disagree, but on the essentials we are united (at least many of us are united).
