Simply Florida : Ft. Lauderdale

On Friday we headed north to Ft. Lauderdale to meet up with Alex and Richard. After stopping at the local Walgreen’s, we headed to Las Olas beach. The day wasn’t really a beach day; I didn’t go in the water. We walked around and shopped around for souvenirs. We had lunch at Cheeburgers, the burgers were made to your liking and the onion rings were the best I ever tasted. Next, we were taken to Sawgrass, the third largest mall in the world according to Richard. It’s like Ontario Mills on swoll. I got some things from the Puma and Adidas outlet and later had dinner at old reliable Panda Express. That evening we dropped off the rental at Ft. Lauderdale airport and were attentive assisted by Dany (Alex's brother) and Richard.

The day of our return to Cali arrived and it was hard saying bye. Saturday morning Alex's mom cooked a delicious late breakfast. Then we went to Starbucks for a vanilla latte; afterwards we went to Family Christian Store. Lastly we were dropped off at the airport. I would like to thank the Camacho family for their kind attitude and for opening the doors of their home. Special thanks to Alex, Richard, Dany and Keila for their warm attention. May God keep on blessing you guys.

In Florida the coconut trees and strong sun seem to be endless. We had a great time. We pray that God keeps raising an army of youth that brings revival to our land.
