Good Change

As a member of AJAIC Distrito Oeste, what changes would you recommend in order to improve our "cultos" or any area that you think needs improvement?

¿ Como miembros de AJAIC Distrito Oeste, que cambios recomendarian para mejorar nuestros eventos o en que areas quisieran ver cambios?

We can use more visual media. We live in a very media saturated time and to communicate effectively and connect with the youth, the use media I think would be productive. G

I have been noticing that many new songs have been added into your "devocionales" which is very good. The only problem that I find with this is that most of us don't know the new songs and we find ourselves simply trying to mimic the song and clapping. I don't know about you guys, but the devocionales are one of the things i look forward to the most (of course the predicacion is #1) because it's where I can praise God and "sing," but if I don't know the songs, I loose out on praising God the way I like. My suggestion to you is not to stop singing new songs, no, keep doing it, but you guys should provide like an overhead for example, so that we all can be a part of the devocionales and praise God the way he deserves!!!! Thanks.

This is just a quick suggestion on how to make the site better. You guys should have a blog where people can also suggest on how to make the site better so that we can all communicate and get to know each other more. Mine is that you should have a place titled "About Me" but that jovenes can answer question about themselves and say a little about themselves and even post a picture if they want to.

I think your idea about about having a section where we can learn more about each other is excellent. Is a nice idea, we can use it to encourage each other in this race called life.

I'm sorry, but those songs aren't in "El himnario de Gloria." I've been in church since I was like 4, and believe me, I know them by memory. I know this may seem like a joke to you guys, but I posted that previous statement because many have the same feeling that I do. Many new jovenes are attending our confraternidades, some are newly converted, some are from churches that have just started joining us, and they want to be a part of the devocionales, but they don't know the songs. Thanks!!

you guys are too much. all he's saying is that there are a lot of new songs and that a lot of people don't know them, it doesn't matter how long they've been n church. some churches sing different songs than other churches. i feel what he's saying about puting the words to songs on a projector or something to that effect.

I think the suggestions should be taken seriously. There is always new songs being sung at different churches, but if they are going to be used at our confraternidades; having the lyrics would help in learning them. It would help everyone, including those who are new converts. It wouldn’t hurt to try. ~ G ~

Yes, thank you guys for understanding, that is exactly what I was trying to say in my previous two comments. New songs are being sung and we don't all sing the same songs throughout all the churches, and it would definately help to have the "new" songs on a projector for us to all learn and sing.

    Thanks and God Bless

Yes, I agree with this plea cuz I was thinking the exact same thing. In addition, I wanted to comment on the fact that we don't have many actividades as we used to. I still remember when we used to have confraternidades every month. What happened??? I really think we should bring that back, it would be awesome.

R says: First off I would like to thank everyone that listened to my plea and made it happen. That Saturday night "Culto Explosivo" devocional at the retreat was off the hook. I loved it and I felt the presence of God in that place like I hadn't in a long time. Thank you AJAIC directive for putting up the overheads with the new songs. This shows me that you guys really are listening to our suggestions and trying to make them happen. They were wonderful, and let me tell you that being able to sing along and expressing what the song is saying yourself is way better than mimiking and clapping alone. Thank you very much directiva. May God bless the choir and the musicos whom made that devocional happen, let me tell you it was one of the best devocinales I have ever witnessed.

I think it would be a good idea to bring up in the next reunion de obreros that we need to cut this whole thing on introducing every single minister that is present at the activities. Personally I think it is a waste of time. We need to use that time for the word of God.

    Thank You
